Joseph had two dreams at age seventeen, and after sharing the dreams with his parents and brothers, his life took a tragic turn. The favoured son with coats of many colors was sold into slavery and from slavery to Prison. 

Somehow he knew he was destined to be a leader so even while in Potiphar’s house, he composed himself so well that it didn’t take long for Potiphar to commit his entire household to his hands. No matter what life has thrown at you, or no matter how low it appears you have sunken, never take your eyes off your dream and never change who you are for any reason. 
Again, he soon became the favorite in Potiphar’s house such that everyone except his master and the master’s wife had to take instruction from him. Do you always find yourself in certain places and positions even in your seemingly lowly estate, those places are positions are pointers to your destiny. 
Then came the great temptation, to either settle down and take the master’s wife or resist and lose favour. He resisted and found himself in prison. Bur even prison could not change his destined leadership position, for he became the trusted hand by the warden. No force can stop your destiny from being fulfilled as long as you don’t change who you are. As a matter of fact, you are the only one who can change God’s plan for your life. 
While in prison, his opportunity came in disguise when he saw the countenance of the baker and butler. He could have ignored their countenance and kept to  himself knowing he was unjustly imprisoned. But he never lost his cheerfulness and desire to help others, he reached out and asked what was wrong. Don’t become morose and uncaring because of your problems. Your destiny lies in helping others. The path to fulfilment of destiny is the path of service, keep serving. 
He interpreted their dreams and he was forgotten for two years. He didn’t start cursing the Chief Butler for not remembering him. He kept doing his job. When the appointed time came, he was remembered. He was remembered because his throne was ready. Don’t jump ahead of God. Don’t jump for a stool when He is preparing a throne for you. 
Please understand this, no power on earth can stop God’s dream for your life except you yourself. So ensure that you are not working against your dream, and don’t bury your dream, keep it clear, written and constantly placed before you. Hab. 2:2-3. You will get there!

Seasons come and go. Summer, Winter, Spring, Autumn, they all have their times and seasons, none is permanent. Riches also have seasons. There are times you do less and you earn a lot, and vice versa. Sometimes we get carried away and assume it is our prowess or skills that is responsible for our wealth, yes it could be, but not always. 
When it is your season and you step into the season, everything will work in your favour. When your season is over, you can only enjoy as much as you have set aside during your rainy season. ‘For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.’  – Proverbs 23:5b, 27:24. This means you cannot afford to eat with your ten fingers if you don’t want to become history. 
In every wealth you make, there is the seed portion and there is the bread portion. Don’t eat your seed with your bread. Your seed is what determines your continuity of harvest. Stop spending as if you have access to the vault of Central Bank!  Even if you have access, the vault may be changed. 
Invest on assets and less on consumptions. Consumptions empty your purse, assets multiply your income generating capacity.  Stop assuming the income will keep flowing like that for life, even rivers change course over time. Save, invest, buy assets that appreciate over time. Vehicles are liabilities, they start depreciating from day of purchase. Land and properties will always appreciate. Gold will always appreciate. Invest in lives too. Sometimes what will save you is the destinies you have helped. 
Be wise, for riches make themselves wings and fly to heaven, where they came from.

Do you know your divine placement in life? Do you really understand where you belong in the spirit? Until you know your divine position, you will continue to look for what is not missing. 
It is the height of folly to assume that spiritual things don’t matter. Spiritual controls the physical. It is foolishness to say there is no God. You will only have yourself to blame when you realise there is God, and may it not be too late then. 
If you don’t know God, you can’t access what has been divinely provided. God has actually raised you far above every problem, challenge, principality, power, spiritual wickedness,  territorial spirits, sickness and disease. You can live ignorantly of this fact for your entire life and struggle all through life. Ignorance is destructive. 
Stop running from pillar to post and run to God through Jesus Christ. He will reveal your true position in Him to you when you draw close to Him. Also, you can still be ignorant of your placement even when you are in Christ, if you don’t know what He has provided. God has not called us to live a beggarly and fear stricken life. Know Him and know all He has provided for you. 
Seek knowledge of God and assume your position far above.

Our world today is filled with vengeful, hurting and hate-filled people. This is manifesting in different forms among which are divorces, acid baths, genital mutilations, suicides and murders, etc and behind most of these is unforgiveness. 
Both young and old are becoming victims of unforgiveness, either not forgiving others or themselves. What the unforgiving people do not know is that they are the real victims and not those they are having issues with. 
Unforgiveness is unhealthy both medically and spiritually. 
“Unforgiveness is classified in medical books as a disease. According to Dr. Steven Standiford, chief of surgery at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, refusing to forgive makes people sick and keeps them that way.

With that in mind, forgiveness therapy is now being used to help treat diseases, such as cancer.”(CBN News). 

Of all cancer patients, 61 percent have forgiveness issues, and of those, more than half are severe, according to research by Dr. Michael Barry, a pastor and the author of the book, The Forgiveness Project.

“Harboring these negative emotions, this anger and hatred, creates a state of chronic anxiety,” he said.

“Chronic anxiety very predictably produces excess adrenaline and cortisol, which deplete the production of natural killer cells, which is your body’s foot soldier in the fight against cancer,” he explained.

Spiritually, you can invite evil thoughts into your life through unforgiveness. For as long as you also harbour unforgiveness in your heart, you are cut off from the throne of Grace and Mercy. Your prayers can’t be answered. Mark 11:25-26.

Don’t cheat yourself through unforgiveness. You are the real victim of unforgiveness.

We often ask ourselves if it is worthwhile to continue doing some good works when nobody seems to be noticing or appreciative. We are tempted to give it up and just stay on our own. This is common to everyone putting in his best effort. 
Don’t be discouraged. Your good works will be rewarded. Posterity will reward you. Heaven will reward you. You and your generations born and unborn will benefit from the rewards of your good works. Don’t stop doing good. 
When we stop doing good, we allow evil to thrive and those who would have been saved by our good works may decide to tow the evil path. Our good works help to keep evil works at bay. It is therefore to our own benefit not to stop doing good. 
Your impact may be small and insignificant, but the combination of our impacts together makes a formidable opposition to evil works. Let us continue in doing good, for in due season, we will reap, if we faint not. Gal. 6:9

Yes, officially it has been declared that Nigeria is in recession. Yes times are hard. But you know what, your life doesn’t have to be in recession. Your times do not have to necessarily follow general time. You can make it despite the economic downturn. Your personal economy can take an upward turn against the tide of times. 

First, don’t join  the bandwagon to sing the song of depression. Look out for opportunities around you. There are needs you can still meet and make money. Challenging times come with many unique opportunities, so identify the ones you can seize. 

Also, there is a limit to every negative wind. No matter how high the sea tide is, when  the tide rises and moves the waves towards the shore, it always stops at the set limit. It doesn’t go beyond the set limit. Listen, it is not the sea shore or human embankment that holds the sea waves back, it is a divine order. That same divine order has been placed on this recession, it will not pass its limits. 

In your personal life, those challenges will not pass their limits. They won’t kill you. You will outlive them. No matter how hot the sun maybe during the day, it will always give way for the moon and stars at night, your challenges will give way for your glory to shine. 

Fear not, there is a limit to those overwhelming flood of challenges.

When you see people driving fast or in a hurry to leave some place, it is often because they have appointments to meet up with. Your timeliness at appointment sometimes determine the outcome of such appointment. Every serious minded person doesn’t like missing appointments, especially when it is business related or dates with loved ones. 

Sometimes, we can decide to ask for a reschedule of the appointment due to exigencies. Sometimes too, you can ask someone to represent you or even skip or avoid the appointment all together. Performance Review appointments are one of such meetings you try to avoid, if your performance is below par. 

However, there is one appointment that cannot be avoided, delegated or deferred. It is an unavoidable appointment and unfortunately it is an appointment without a specific time. This is appointment with death. None of us knows the time of our death. It is the most important appointment in life because once you answer the appointment, you face your judgement. 

Friends, I will be guilty if I share motivational, inspirational and educative post everyday, and I don’t share the Truth with you. The Truth is Jesus Christ. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6). There is judgement followed by life after death. (Heb. 9:27).You cannot beat the appointment with death, neither can you beat the judgement. 

Do you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Personal Saviour? Do you know Jesus is the Key to eternal rest? Are you ready for His second coming? Are you ready for your appointment with death? How prepared are you to meet with your maker? Dwell on these things.

No man can reach his full potentials or fulfill destiny without the right people in his life. Jesus Christ needed John the Baptist to baptise him before he could commence his three year ministry. Moses would not have recorded much success without the help of Aaron and Joshua. We are creatures of relationships and we function effectively when we find the right relationships.

It is therefore important to know the right relationships so that our journey on earth will be smoother and so that we can make heaven at last. In the next few days, we will be discussing relationships that matter. We will examine one today and continue tomorrow.

1. Relationship with God: Dear friends, it will be a total and colossal waste of time and heaven’s resources if you journey through the world without a perfect relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. For you to have access to God, you need to accept His Son, Jesus Christ as your Lord and Personal Saviour. “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12. “For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.” Acts 17:28.

Without God, you cannot go far in life. He made you for a purpose and doing anything outside that purpose will only lead to frustration. It is important you have God as your Father through our Lord Jesus Christ. This relationship is the most important and the foundation for every other relationship to thrive.

Do not be deceived by science and its various theories of the evolution of man. God exists. He was, He is and He remains forever. If you don’t have a relationship with Him here on earth, you can’t live with Him in heaven. The place prepared for those who refused to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord is Hell, and it is a place of eternal punishment.

I therefore advise you today to accept Jesus if you have not. If you have, obey him more, and follow his leading through the Holy Spirit. God is functioning in this dispensation through His Spirit, known as the Holy Spirit. If you don’t have Christ, you can’t have the Holy Spirit. Your relationship with God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Spirit (Holy Spirit) should be of more value to you than all the treasures of Life. Accept Jesus today.
