Last night, I watched my football club beat a rival club on a ground where the best they have ever had was a draw.

Before the match, there were fears of losing due to previous records, coupled with the fact that it was an away match. Plus, Arsenal is breathing down on our neck, such that any drop in point will topple us off the Premier League table top.

Anyway, we played really well, took the game to them, and ended the match with two unreplied goals.

What is the moral of the story? Your past doesn’t have to determine your future. Do not hold yourself bound to past mistakes, failures or even successes. You can always chart a new course just like Man City did yesterday.

So, what is that past event that is still holding you back? Free yourself from it today and start a new lease of life, it is possible.
