There’s a tendency to envy those who seem to be successful.
Meanwhile, what we consider as “success” may be their great interpersonal skills and conflict management at play, and in some cases “packaging”, in naija parlance.
Drawing from my experience, there are times I am fortunate to have what some may consider a tidy sum of money, yet it is nowhere near what I require for a pending project.
But again, I am always grateful for such times, because I consider access to such resources a privilege.
In summary, don’t envy anyone because they seem successful, they have their own painpoints too, it may just be on a higher level. Where you need the sum of #100k, another may have the #100k but actually need #1m.
The rooster sweats too, but its feathers conceal the sweat, even the richest man has needs. Do not envy anyone because of their apparent success.
